Happy Birthday, Maurice Sendak

June 10, 1928 was the day Maurice Sendak entered our world.  He created Where the Wild Things Are and so much more during his long career as a children’s writer.  Today, the day of his birth, Google is honoring Mr. Sendak with an original video of his work that goes around the world, just as Sendak’s books have and still will for years to come.  Please enjoy that video.  What Maurice Sendak book have you read?

A “Google Doodle”

If the video hangs up, here is the original post on YouTube.
