OHIO LIBRARIES WIN!!

Thank You Ohio Voters

Many of the public libraries in  my Ohio won funding in this last election. This doesn’t replace all the funds lost in the budget cuts of the past couple of years, but it sure helps.

Here are the winners:

NEW Funds

Cuyahoga Falls                                         0.6 mill NEW   plus  1.3 mill replacement

Dayton Metro Library System                 1.56 mill 26 years (total $187 mill bond)

Hudson Library and Historical Society    0.7 mill NEW  plus  1.6 mill levy

Lucas County  (my library)           0.9 mill NEW   2.0 mill renewal

Pataskala                                                  0.25 5 year NEW plus 0.5 renewal

RENEWED Funds

Ada Public           1 mill,  5 year

Adams County     1 mill,  10 years

Avon                    1.2 mill

Bucyrus               1 mill

Lake County        1 mill

Meigs County     1 mill,  5year

Mentor               2 mill,  5 year

Orrville              0.75 mill,  5 year

Rossford            1 mill,  5 year

Sheffield Lake    2.2 mill

Vinton County   0.4 mill,   5 year

Way Public       1.5 mill, 4 year

 REPLACED Funds

Avon Lake                          1.8 mill

Grandview Heights            2.5 mill

Norwalk Public                 0.55 mill

Oberlin                             3.25 mill

Wadsworth                      1.25 mill
